Well, guess what? My Website is officially OPEN…. YES! It has been a long time coming and we have discussed, designed and debated over the development of this website and it is finally here! So please forgive the grammar and spelling errors, we are still learning the ropes in these areas, but do have a squiz & we are happy to hear your comments…
We have made this website as an online selling system, although you will notice that some items do not have prices against the product. We have made it as simple as this…. All you have to do in this case, is put it in your wish list & send your request to us for a quotation. We in return will respond to you via e-mail with prices & availability. You will also notice that there are no prices on any of the flowers as these prices change so often, so you’d have to call me on my cellphone or e-mail me for quotes. We will try our best to keep you up to date with new products and any crazy exciting news of what we are up to….
You have to check out our BLOG page on all the latest weddings we have done – see the stunning photos of our work…
So please spread the news about our beautiful site… ‘like it’, ‘pin it’ and ‘re-pin it’ as you wish! Whatever message you send to us, we will pin-it up on our site… How cool is that !!!
Hope you enjoy our website & you have fun browsing all the special goodies we have to offer you 🙂
Much love to all our fabulous supporters.
Coral & Sophia xxx
Brendan + Robyn got married on the 24th May 2014 at Chanteler. As you can see they used the very earthy colour scheme to suit the stunning country venue for their wedding decor and using the driftwood & candles, made it very romantic.
I wish you both all the best for your new adventure together, thanks again for allowing Coralee’s Florist to be a part of your special day!
A big thank you goes to Sophia & Richie for all their hard work & dedication… It all worked out so well in the end & looked amazing, as you can see 🙂 I would also like to thank Stephanie from Chanteler for being so accommodating & also just being there for us…
Wire Hearts were made with Gypsoph & Papaya Chrysanth’s which were hung on the Pews @ the Church.
Arrangement for the Bridal Table – I used three different pieces of driftwood with flowers coming out of the pieces. I also used natural pebbles with LED lights which were placed in the crevices of the wood – it really looked amazing !!
The Wire Hearts were hung on the backdrop behind the Bridal Table.
Cylinder vases in various sizes were used for the centre pieces on the Guest Tables. I used Burnt Orange Calla Lillies, White Arum Lillies, Protea Pin Cushions & Anastacia Chrysanths in these vases which were filled with water & had floating candles on the top….
The Cake Table & the Final Outcome of the Venue….
I was over the moon when asked to do all the decor & flowers for Kimberly & Stuart’s special day! Not only did they make a beautiful looking couple, but Kimberly and Stuart were both a pleasure to work with throughout the event.
Kimberly and Stuart were married at Makaranga Garden Lodge, situated in the Kloof Botanical Gardens, on the 24th April 2014. Kimberly chose the colour Coral, as the main colour of the event, which obviously is my favourate colour to work with. With having fairy lights setup around the venue, it all looked so beautiful & romantic.
I truly enjoyed working with such a beautiful couple! Here’s wishing you both many, Happy years together & may these memories remain with you forever !!
I would like to take this opportunity in thanking my special team for all your continued support & dedication… Sophia, Susan & Richie were such stars & worked so hard – thank you !!
These arrangements were used for the main table
And then there were 3…..
Congratulations to Sophia and Pete on the Birth of their beautiful Baby Girl, Chiara. I have no doubt that Chiara will bring you lots of love & joy into your lives…
I am so priveleged to have her come with you to Coralee’s every day. Good practice for me when Stace has a baby one of these days 🙂
Louise & Evan’s wedding was held at Green Sleeves at Camelot in Hillcrest, KZN….. Travel back in time to the perfect fairy-tale wedding in their exquisite Medieval Castle. The breath-taking photographic setting of their Castle, Chapel, Gardens & views of the Lakes is perfect for a wedding venue. http://www.greensleevesatcamelot.co.za
Louise’s colour scheme was a mixture of Deep Purple, Reds, White & Green’s, which I have to admit worked so well together. Because Louise works so well with colour in her profession as a hairdresser, she in her own mind knew exactly how amazing these colours worked together & she was 100% correct!!
The flowers I used were the Madiba King Proteas, Pincushion Proteas, Deep Purple Gladiolus, Purple Lisianthus, Purple Dendrobium Orchids, White Anthuriums, White Aster Monte, Purple Limonium Latifolia, Leucodendron Golden Strike & Green Garlands made out of Ming…
Louise was such a pleasure to work with and I just loved working with her colour combination. She made the most stunning bride & I am sure this day was so special for them both & a lot of fun was had by all, being a Greek wedding J
I just want to thank Louise & Evan for allowing me to do their flowers for them for this special occasion which will remain in their thoughts for many years to come, & I am so glad that everything worked out just perfect – here’s wishing you many more memorable years together ♥ GREEN SLEEVES @ CAMELOT Louise & Evan…
The Wrist Corsages & Buttonholes I made up white orchids for Louise’s hair – this suited her up-style The Chapel at Camerlot…. The Main Table’s Arrangement…. The Guests Tables… This picture says it all !!! Happily Ever After…..
This must of been the biggest challenge I have ever put upon myself.
I had my official open day for my shop on the 21st October 2013. Even though I sweated “blood & tears” & wondered if I had made the right decision, I must admit, I will never look back…. I so LOVE my shop & every day I go down there, the aromas are so uplifting & just the warmth & surroundings make it that extra special.
For all of those guests who made the effort to come to my shop on this Special Day of mine, I just want to really thank you for coming & making this day even more special for me…
The love & support group that I now have makes me feel so complete….
Thank you xx
I prepared all the flowers for Natasha & James’s wedding, tucked away between rolling hills and sugar cane fields, just 15 minutes inland from Ballito, lies a piece of heaven on the north coast, Rain Farm Game Lodge, a three hundred hectare wildlife sanctuary, rich in adventure and rugged beauty. http://www.rainfarmgameandlodge.co.za/
Natasha’s colour scheme was Yellow, Orange, White & Green’s, which was such a good choice, as the lapa area certainly needed these bright colours to lift the room.
I loved working with Natasha & Gail (her Mom) as she was just always so chilled out !! Because of her job commitments, in flying all over the world, she left most of the organisation up to me & she put so much trust in me & my work, which always works out both ways…
This was the message I received from Gail after the wedding:
Hi Coral Thank you SO very much for all your hard work at Natasha and James’s wedding. The flowers were absolutely stunning and everyone commented on them !! So sorry you had to work so late, but the end product was out of this world. The church petals …. What can I say – stunning….. so creative.
Thanks so much again Coral. Give Hugo a big hug and kiss from us.
Best Regards – Gail 🙂
I just want to thank Natasha & James for allowing me to do their flowers for them for their special occasion which will remain in their thoughts for many years to come, & I am so glad that everything worked out just perfect – here’s wishing you many more memorable years together ♥
Rain Farm Game Lodge’s Outlook…. The Guest Table Arrangements & Main Table Arrangements Flowers done in the Church & a Rose Petal pattern down the Aisle The Bridal Party…. Such a Memorable Day – Thank you for allowing me to be part of your Special Day xxx
Sophia Lino joined me soon after my shop opening in October 2013 & she so kindly helped me out that day with writing out all the goods that were purchased by everyone & thank goodness working the credit card machine, which I must admit, was new to me 🙂
Sophia has showed so much love & support & commitment to me & my business, & even though she is almost ready to have her baby, never once has she ever complained about a thing & she only finished up with me this last week, being Monday 17th February 2014. She is still working on my website from home, now waiting for her little pie to come…
I am sure once Sophia has had her baby & settled down, she will be back in my shop… Good luck my angel & come back soon 🙂
Thank you for all you have done so far for me.
Richard & Susan joined me in 2010 as a husband & wife team. Susan worked part-time for me in the house & Richie worked in the garden. I have since taught them both how to clean all my flowers & to clean my shop on a regular basis. They have become so good at cleaning roses, I can’t even clean them as well as they do… I sent Susan on a Floral course with Greg from Vegmoflora Art School – this was a basic floral course & she now has a better vision on floral arranging, so Susan now assists me when I have weddings to prepare. Greg has also been such a great help to me & we have become such good friends (http://www.durbanschooloffloristry.co.za) His work in floral art & teaching is the BEST !!
Richie, maintains & takes care of all my potted orchids. He has such “Green fingers” & he always makes sure that every pot plant is watered in my shop, & all the orchids are taken care of.
When I arrive home with a car loaded with flowers, they are both there to assist me offload the flowers quickly & put them into the coldroom. This always helps keep the flowers FRESH !!
They also make sure that every second day, the water in the buckets are changed which is important to keep the flowers fresh.
They both work so well together & as a team. Thanks so much to you both – you will grow with Coralee’s Florist….
